GO AWAY JESUS, YOUR JUST TOO CLOSE

GO AWAY JESUS, YOUR JUST TOO CLOSE

This morning as I was waking up contemplating some of the experiences of my own life over the long term and of late, I was struck with a thought that made my heart leap that one could call the ‘trickle down economics of love’ in the heart of a domestic crisis.

How many of us leave home mad at someone in our family? How many of us have been offended by a close friend and chose to simply break off the connection rather than deal with it employing the tools of forgiveness, mercy, and love?

How much easier is it to deal with people that live farther away who are also trying to employ what we call ‘unconditional love’? It’s a lofty term without any real roots. How realistic is it to say that you love Jesus and treat everyone outside the 100 mile boundary of your proximity with ‘unconditional love’, but as for those family members who have treated you ill and friends that have offended you, they can kiss your sweet behind?

In summarizing, how can you claim to love Jesus and hate your closest family or friend? Would Jesus love you and never say anything when it comes to you abusing money, sex, or substances without moderation? Jesus Christ had plenty to say about domestic abuse to yourself, to your family, and to your friends. How can you place higher in your circle of value foreigners than those friends and family who love you enough to say something?

Truth be told, the foreigner if he came into close proximity to you from his foreign position really doesn’t care about you, and would use you as an object of not very much affection, especially if he knows nothing of what your reality truly is.

The profound thought occurred that it truly is our families and friends in close proximity who provide us the greatest opportunities to improve, employ, and utilize all of the characteristics of forgiveness, mercy, and love which is what Jesus Christ taught. They in a sense are knocking at our door and are challenges we must open up for in order to use what Jesus has taught.

You can almost count on the fact that the challenges in your life won’t arise from some disturbed friend offending you on facebook 3,000 miles away. They do not see the crazy things you do at home. Oh, what do you mean? Well, like abusing substances to the point where your bodily functions are either malfunctioning or refusing to function or employing a silent sex trade with anyone that knocks on your door, or simply living in a pig sty. I always like to point here with a wink; Jesus lived in a “Garden” not a pig sty. (smile)

To your social media friends who you receive and give this ‘unconditional love’ from and to respectively, there is no concern for you in these matters. My heavens, you could drop over dead the next day or two and they’d protest and feign their sadness and move on to someone else who post pretty pictures, but your family and friends in close proximity would be attending your funeral and burying you. That’s real.

Recently a friend of mine, here in America, was bragging a little to me that most of (his/her) friends on social media were foreign in such a way that I got the distinct feeling (she/he) didn’t like Americans because of the way they acted or thought and much preferred foreigners. Well, my heart got a little sorrowful ache to it as I thought about the treatment to this person by those in close proximity, perhaps by family, perhaps close proximity friends, that had given them the idea that foreign friends were ideal and domestic friends were out to lunch. Indeed, maybe both perspectives could use some help.

Maybe the ones offended could try and employ a greater understanding that was said or done came from a loving foundation meant to stabilize. Maybe those dishing out the constructive criticism could temper or flower it a little so it wasn’t so harsh? In both circumstances, the words “I’m sorry” can be skillfully and truthfully employed as strength without embarrassment or a sign of weakness.

The inner or domestic circle was the uncomfortable one, and the outer or foreign circle was much more comfy. I thought about my own challenges with the exact same thing. It wasn’t that it was difficult to employ what Jesus Christ taught; it’s that you were called upon to employ it so often. (smile)

So it kind of dawned on me as something to recognize as I recall the picture of Jesus Christ knocking on your door with no door knob on the outside. We must invite him in and employ his teachings to those who are actually at our door; for what kind of reward do we have to get along with someone half way round the world we are holding in high esteem the value of their “unconditional love for us” while we spite, and under employ love to those in close proximity?

Jesus taught that we should pray for our enemies and love those who despitefully mistreat us so that our example would wreck their unhappy world. So that through our example our own domestic arena could be purified as we cleaned the inner vessel (inside) first and then tended to the outer vessel (outside) of our world.

Jesus certainly was experienced with strife within his own family, and his own friends teaching Mark 6:4; Luke 4:24; John 4:44 [Jesus himself testified] a prophet is not without honor save in his own country. How many many examples are there in scripture that tell a story of family strife and discord? So it is we must exert and exercise the muscles of ‘forgiveness’, ‘mercy’, and ‘love’ with those who are closest to us, as if we were facing the stair master, weight bar, or a distance to run, with no energy, slumped down looking at it as if it was a dragon to slay with our choice to either get on, or go home and forget about working out.

It seems that those who actually get on the exercise machine, grab hold of the bar, or finally just leap forward in taking that first stride of a 5K are the ones who return from their work out with a smile on their face. How much bigger of a smile will you have when you have employed that determination with those whom are closest to you that may have offended you in some way in what was a prod of love, or an encouragement they failed to understand was coming across as a ‘judgmental accusation’?

Of course we all make judgments we have to and that is not bad. Without them we might not ever feed ourselves. When we ‘judge righteously’ employing love in the greatest degree we can possibly think of our example is left behind as a teaspoon of sugar and that certainly helps the medicine go down. ‘Sparing the rod and spoiling the child’ certainly has applications of avoiding ‘domestic abuse’ if we consider our communications of love to be corrections that don’t necessarily sit well with us and judgment of others as an action. What we often forget is that corrections can be made, understood, and thus employed much better as we sprinkle it with ‘mercy’ of which we all need a big dose of.

Truly this has enormous implications world wide as we ask the question: How can we tend to foreign affairs and let our own domestic affairs crumble? The United States is not built by Governments it’s built by individuals. The world is not run by Governments but by individuals and it is right at Home that you can find the single best place to really improve the whole world.

God Bless you Americans to employ forgiveness, mercy, and love, so that you can bless the whole world!

Sincerely,
Cody Robert Judy

FROM ROOTS WE SPRING – A Tale of FIRE

FROM ROOTS WE SPRING – A Tale of FIRE

The family’s history is the root from which we spring. When it comes to the seed we were that was planted and nurtured to the tree we have become most take it as the facts of which a smidgen of pride is noticed. Patriarchs genealogies of family history where closely guarded in the Bible with lines drawn as far back as Adam making up entire chapters of so-and-so begat so-in-so who begat so-in-so etc. The cover-up of you family history was seen as heresy.

Of course knowing who you are, where you came from and why you are here are basic or foundational questions many fail to consider on one hand but others go to great lengths to uncover as essential building blocks for the future.
Discovering the origins of your story is rooted in remembering as well as planning for the future. One adage goes: a straight line is drawn from one point to another, and if you don’t have a point from a beginning you certainly can’t make a straight line; and also wondering in circles is certainly a form of repetition where you’re bound to make the same mistakes twice.

As mistakes may go on one hand, who wants to make the same mistakes twice and on the other hand, who enjoys watching a movie over and over and over? I suppose repetitions do have a purpose in learning and understanding a solid; for it is with great effort over a long period of time that a diamond is refined. Of course we have all made what we’d consider stupid mistakes we should have known better for, some funnier than others and hopefully those mistakes didn’t include any loss of life being lost unnecessarily.

So it is with great interest Americans actually are shocked at the cover-up of so many elected officials who in their own rite-of-passage have risen to represent the law for us common folks, to obfuscate their duty when questioned on fundamental questions of who Barack Obama really is with his fabricated birth certificate he distributed, as has been unearthed by senior law enforcement officials, as well as the natural national security breach and great concern of foreign alien ship Barack Obama’s own history presents in the oval office as commander-in-chief?

The respectable Congressmen, honored distinguished, embellish their deeds of running from fire to fire as ambulance chasers after Barack Obama who at the root is not lawfully eligible for the Office of the President. They look at hearings on “Fast & Furious”, “Benghazi”, “AP Reporter Wire Tapping”, “Public Wire Tapping”, “Obamascare”, “IRS Profiling”, “Un-authorized Wars like Libya”, and emptying “Gitmo with a prisoner exchange or swap of 5:1 as positive reinforcement that really has to do with an advantage for us because we don’t have to feed 5 prisoners and they are only getting rid of one mouth to feed. Of course if that were their angle one has to wonder why our borders have become rather absorbent and why our front door isn’t being used by so many?

Congress does this with an expectation of being rewarded rather than disciplined with a flat out firing. I mean nowhere was that more unexpected than with the former high ranking Republican official Eric Cantor. I mean that guy was smooth. It was a good talker, looked sharp, and basically with pockets full of money could not muster the strength to get out of his own republican primary. Remember that letter I sent to him?

The same kind of thing happened here in Utah when in 2010 former Republican U.S. Senator Bob Bennett was rousted out of his Republican tenure in a republican primary. He was just so shocked that he got canned; he burst into tears in unbelief. In both these election lessons we have to consider that just being a person who “looks good” for that office is enough, but what you do as a person in the office is very important.

In a former career of mine I sold a lot of family movies on an executive team. I sold a lot of families a little primary cartoon for kids called “Simon the Lamb” that taught us it’s not what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside that counts. How often do we select Politicians because of what’s on the outside rather then what’s on the inside? Remember even David was passed over at one time by a Prophet for the rest of his brothers as not “looking very good”, to which the Lord scolded the lesson found in “Simon the Lamb”. The Lord doesn’t see as men see on the outside, but the Lord looks at the heart.

Wouldn’t we be wise in discovering the hearts of our Politicians if we asked them why they haven’t arrested Obama’s fabrication and fraud upon the American public in his identity cover-up in the elections of 2008 and 2012? If they consider the actual cost of an election with ballots the greatest expense we can’t afford, then remind them of the cost each and every scandal has cost us so far.

When I was a boy one of my jobs in the spring was to clean the irrigation ditches of old dry grass that would prevent irrigation water from reaching its destination very quickly, as well as soaking up the water as an unproductive source and waste. The way I did that was by bawling up a gunny-sack with a piece of wire wrapped tightly around it, dipping it in diesel, and then running through the irrigation ditches like a fox with its tail lit on fire. That was easy work.
Of course as long as I stayed in the irrigation ditches the fun I was having with fire was applauded as productive.

If I were to stray out of the irrigation ditches say into a field of barley or wheat or alfalfa, holy butt burning was certainly not an exaggeration. I didn’t burn any of the cash crops up, but there is more than one tale I’ve heard of a gust of wind coming along and taking an ash or two out and landing it on the top of a roof and a house burning down. Who can say that tragedies yet to come with a sudden gust of wind?

I have looked at these scandals repeatedly coming out of the Obama Administration as a stray fox with his tail lit on fire running out of the irrigation ditches and lighting the fields on fire. Congress brags that they are holding hearings on each and every fire, but anybody in their right mind would say, “If you want to stop the fires, stop the boy whose running through the fields like a fox with his tail lit on fire!”

Obama is not eligible to be president. He’s a walking talking violation who continually proves to us the wisdom of not allowing foreign citizenship in the Office of the President. You tried it, gave him the benefit of the doubt with the hopes your boy Sen. John McCain would get elected without being questioned in the good ole boys deal you made with U.S. Sen.Res. 511. He wasn’t, but you’re not obligated to let our nation burn down on a deal you made with the devil either.

In fact, many of you in 2010 that came in were never a part of that deal in 2008 made between Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. Barack Obama, and Sen. John McCain, so unless you’re saying it takes less than two years to be corrupted in Washington DC, I don’t understand why you’re keeping your mouth shut about the emperor with no clothes on in the biggest scandal to ever hit our Country. Unless, for all intensive purposes you don’t take any pride in your family traditions yourself and the mark of history you not only will have to live with, but one you will be ashamed of for the rest of your life is your goal?

Yes, we all have those marks and thank God we are able to ask forgiveness from God. Jesus Christ died for us and suffered those sins we confess in the Garden of Gethsemane that justice would not be perverted. Let us be clear about something, Jesus didn’t die for sins that are covered-up that justice might have her perfect way. No, he actually said for those sins not confessed the individual will have to suffer even as I have suffered. We are left wondering if Congress is planning a private confessional, why we the people get screwed with our crops and fields on fire.

I’m just saying I guess it would be nice if Congress decided together in a bi-partisan agreement that Obama wasn’t qualified to be in the Office of the President, and the more light that has been shed on his fabricated documents and identification the worse it looks when we cover it up so let’s just clean the slate and go through what we have to go through because we know in the end there is a light at the tunnel that will be reward enough.

Can you imagine any of our former Presidents who were qualified who had that burden upon their shoulders from George Washington to George W. Bush patting you on the back and saying “good job”? That to me would seem sweeter then getting re-elected if I were a Congressmen and had kept my mouth shut on the biggest scandal of deceit to every hit America staining the democratic process of elections forever for the entire world to see.

How would you like to raise your hand up to your family and friends and announce, “Yes, I was in Congress during the time of Obama and I kept my mouth shut”?

Mothers of America - Salute to America's Bald Eagles

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY 2017.. Mom, Four Years ago I wrote this Post of some of the hurdles you got over with your courage and strength. I'm sure happy to say, "Mom's still here" going on 81 years young! What a great life to have danced and to have experienced. I Love you Mom!❤ Thank you for all you have done and been in such an example of Love. ❤ #HappyMothersDay to all you beautiful mothers.

Reflecting on Mother's Day.

Mother's Day 2013 - It was a great day for me spent in a wonderful gratitude toward all Mothers. My heart was full of appreciation and love for all Mothers. I had a lot of self-reflection about how important so many women have been to me in my life. There aren't a lot of subjects that come close to making my heart swell so much as well as my tear ducts.

I thought of sharing just a few instances of the gratitude I felt yesterday.

The day begin in the morning as I woke up around 8am and immediately begin to ponder the condition of my own Mom. She's been cancer free for a year now but it seemed like yesterday she lay in the hospital at death door literally asking for its toll. I was looking at caskets thinking about how fast I could make one as she requested at one time from me because I've done a lot of wood work she's admired.

The decision for Chemo was one that was fraught with peril and against the advise from all outside family members especially when they circled the wagons and saw what kind of shape she was in. Calcium levels from the bone marrow entering her blood stream had reached her brain totally disabling her mind from reality and the only thing she could grasp a focus and a reality on was my sister and I.

Truly a testament of a Mother's love even the disease of lymphoma had not taken the ingrained fiber she held dearest of her children. It seemed that would remain in tact until her last breath. At 73 the prognosis for any kind of recovery after chemo is really predicated upon the person's ability before the cancer hit, but the doctors didn't know exactly what that was, only I did.

I distinctly remember the night I knelt down feeling the weight of my own Mother in my hands and thinking of her as a daughter of God, and the Doctor telling me if she didn't get chemo the 16 golf ball sized tumors she had distributed throughout her body would require her life.

What did God want for her? That was my question. If it was her time to pass I was comfortable in letting that happen and didn't want her to suffer. I was trying to handle it as objectively as possible and it was perhaps the first time in my life I looked at my Mother and tried to remove my selfishness for her and consider God's will was greater than my own.

When I awoke the dream I'd had was very fresh in my mind. I had dreamed of a BIG frying pan on the ground the sides of which matched my legs spread about 4 feet. I reached down and picked the frying pan up and it was unbelievably heavy and took all my strength but I did it. Like a weight lifter dead-lifting a bar again I heaved it up and it seemed a little lighter. Again and again and again I lifted the big frying pan and each time I did it got lighter and lighter and lighter.

Of course I could think of no better way to express in a parable form the process of going through chemo as it basically fry's your whole body as you ingest into your system the drugs meant to kill the destroying radicals in your body. This I knew was God's will for her.

After 8 chemo treatments about 2 weeks apart that were followed by 11 days of nupitan shots which required me to make a 100 mile trip to pick her up get her to the doctor take her back home and then return to my own place we were over-joyed to learn that she was cancer free and has been for a year now. My Mom seemed to emulate the courage and fierce proud nature of the American Bald Eagle.

It was difficult for me to sit across the table from her while we ate at her choice and favorite Chuck-A-Rama without my heart swelling and my tears wanting to burst out wondering about the miracle that sat across from me and the courage she'd had to continue through all the treatments.

In our table talk I related to her a few of the other friends I'd contacted during the day who were mothers with different stories everyone I related I choked out and was grateful not to be talking about in public due to my own emotion about the touching stories.

One friend had been all over the Nation away from her two children who were grown but had suffered many trials with the law and support. She text me that she was FINALLY blessed to be with BOTH her children at the same time. The ordeal she'd been through herself was enough to try the heart of anyone and I'd known of this struggle for years. How sweet her text was to me and how happy I was for her to experience that sweetness on Mother's Day.

Another friend who I text Happy Mother's Day hasn't had any children in her life, but she's cared for nieces and nephews and had other significant rolls with children. I wondered for a minute how a Happy Mother's Day might affect her personally but as I kept thinking about it the thoughts poured over me. She'd been the one person in my life who I could actually say had supported me whole heartedly in my campaign for President in 2012.

She was my political guru who constantly was there for me in the depths of the Campaign which seemed more like a suicide mission than a presidential campaign. One can only imagine the loneliness of taking Barack Obama to 2 state District Courts 2 State supreme courts and the United States Supreme Court twice along with making upwards of a 100 commercials and videos documenting the journey through the Spartan legal jungles and deserts of little to no support as a fellow candidate.

It was like walking through snake venom for over a year with neither Republicans or Democrats having anything good to say about it and the small percentage of those who did support the Constitution's demand for a natural born citizen being cordial but having little faith in my effort as a pro se litigant without expert or high priced professional attorneys familiar with the judicial road.

There was no other women in my life who I could talk politics with who was remotely interested. In my own family it was not a popular subject and any mention of it out of my mouth brought an iron curtain down or a brick wall up in disapproval, but she was always there like an guardian angel. Always offering kind words and remarking how much she admired me for the stand. I felt as I wished her Happy Mothers Day she had been a very worthy Mother to our Nation and the cause and principles of the Constitution along with the few supporters who had sent me a little support from all over the Nation at times I couldn't have gone on without and were so very appreciated.

My ex-wife who at 43 and two weeks before our marriage had walked in with me and had her IUD taken out and after 2 years had become pregnant resulting in our now near 4 year old son. When people are thinking about finishing raising their family we were starting a new one urged on by the distinct prodding of the spirit that whispered to us a very special soul was waiting for us to be his parents.

I can scarcely comprehend the courage it took for her to do that after she had 4 near grown kids already. Every time I contemplate her strength I am filled with admiration and appreciation every year as I am also with the mother of my other 3 grown children.

Truly the value of the mothers in our life's is known and born in sacrifice as is life also made possible by the fathers. We absolutely need both in our life's and without one or the other would not be here. I want to thank every mother in my life for the sweetest ability in nurturing and love ever shown to me. I am a very grateful man understanding that this Earth holds a reflection of my Heavenly Father and that somewhere in the Heavens there also is a mother-in-heaven watching over me and perhaps even inspiring the mother's love I have experienced so wonderfully.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9dNrNugHW8&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Of course we are reminded about the bad things that happen every day and this Mother's Day was not without its tragedy with the 19 wounded in New Orleans which is heart breaking. Our hearts go out to the victims of this rampage yet I am reminded that the Mother's of this Nation have been chosen that represent such great courage as to endure to the end. I am so honored to look upon the Mothers of America realizing the spirit of independence, liberty, and freedom which runs through their veins of which I am apart.

May God Bless You in each and every trial you are called to go through. We stand and honor you every Mother's Day saluting the very fiber of your being as witnesses to not only the birth but the preservation of this Nation in your trust of the Constitution.

While the Constitution hangs by a hair it would be no surprise to me to see the Mother's of this Nation making the stand that with our Constitution freedom rings for them in ways they are not willing to give up without a fight. Hell has no fury like the American Mother who understands that without the Constitution she has been sold with her children because without the Law the power of women is reduced to that of the weaker of the sexes and with the law she has become and gained the respect she deserves.

Bonded- The Cody Judy Family

From 1985 to 2010 Cody & Jill Judy's family have grown and matured. This is a tribute to their success with Chaz,Jaycee, and Cassidy becoming adults. Bonded is the horse sculpture Cody carved in 1987 out of the trunk of a tree depicting an arabian stallion and mare who are one: "Bonded". Though many things have come and gone and changed, there are still ties that bind a family together even as Cody & Jill's children have bonded them together.
